About us  

Dr. Raymond Kim has been providing the highest quality general and cosmetic dentistry to his patients of all ages since 1998 at this location.

Dr. Kim grew up in San Francisco, attended UC Berkeley and received degree in Genetics.  He then pursued his dental degree in University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. After graduating with honors, he served in the US Navy as a Navy dentist with the Marines in 29 Palms for three years.  While serving our country, Dr. Kim received advance training in Endodontics and Oral Surgery..

After his service, Dr. Kim relocated to Las Vegas valley and opened his private office, Pointe North Dental in 1998. To serve his patients with most current knowledge in the field, Dr. Kim has been active in continuing his education. He completed two year post graduate course in Orthodonitcs for general dentist, Progressive Orthodontic Seminars. Dr. Kim has been providing Orthodontic services since 2002. Dr. Kim is also active in Implantology, dental implants.  He has attended numerous courses in dental implants since 2000 and has been providing implants services since 2002.  Dr. Kim has successfully placed over four hundred implants.  Staying current with the technology in Dentistry, Dr. Kim has also implemented CAD/CAM, computer aided design and manufacturing, into his practice.  Cerec technology allows all ceramic crowns to be made in office in one visit.  This technology even allows in office fabrication of very difficult anterior veneers with shade matching done in the office.  For patient safety, Dr. Kim uses the top of the line digital dental x-ray sensor Dexis Platinum which requires lowest radiation but provides most detailed image in the field. Dr. Kim is certified provider of Invisalign and certified provider of laser dentistry.

Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys golf and tinkering with anything mechanical especially cars.

Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Implants
