About us
We take pride in being the only office in New Mexico whose practice is limited to the treatment of TMJ (temporomandibular joint) and sleep disorders, and head, neck and facial pain.
Our staff is highly trained and have all passed the necessary requirements and testing to become Certified TMJ Assistants by the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. Together they have a combined total of more than 65 years of experience. They are very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you might have.
We have state–of-the-art equipment in our office including:
- cone-beam computerized tomograph (CBCT, digital x-ray) which allows 3-dimensional imaging of the head and neck with greatly reduced radiation exposure.
- pharyngometer/rhinometers which use sound waves to analyze the size and shape of the oral and nasal airways (sonar-type device)
- Tek- Scan digital bite analyzers
- Doppler ultrasound devices to evaluate temporomandibular joint noises
- Low-level lasers (non-surgical) for the reduction of pain and inflammation.
