About us
Dr. Larry B. Grillo is the senior partner of Aventura Dental Arts. He graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio Dental School in 1986. Dr. Grillo works closely with oral surgeons, orthodontists and periodontists in the multidisciplinary treatment of patients requiring implant therapy and complex, esthetic, dental rehabilitations. He has extensive experience in the treatment planning and restorative aspects of implant dentistry and is well-versed with the various currently available prosthetic options. Dr. Grillo lectures on a comprehensive approach to designing and delivering esthetic dental reconstructions utilizing implants.
An early adopter of intra-oral cameras and networked, chair-side computers, Dr. Grillo also advocates and lectures on the use of advanced technologies in dental practice. He is currently serving as Restorative Director for the Miami based ISTM, an Implant Soft Tissue Management Program with Dr. Anthony Sclar, as associate faculty at Barry University’s Sports Medicine Program and as product advisor to several dental companies.
As a dedicated husband and father of 5, Dr. Grillo has many interests outside of dentistry. He enjoys coaching, baseball, basketball and water sports.

Dr. Joel C. Gale was born in Miami, Florida. He attended the University of Maryland where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Following his graduation, he attended Boston University School of Dentistry and graduated with his DMD Degree. He then completed a one year post graduate fellowship program in Esthetic Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After graduation in 1995, Dr. Gale entered private practice.
As a dedicated husband and father of two, Dr. Gale has many interests outside of dentistry. He enjoys playing tennis and basketball and coaching sports for his children.
