Currently own Cosmetic and Family Dentistry with my partner Garrett Mulkey.
Over the last 8 years, I have taken over 500 hours of continuing education in a variety of fields, concentrating in functional orthopedics and orthodontics. I also have attended numerous continuing education courses to diagnose and treat patients with sleep disordered breathing problems such as, snoring and sleep apnea.
"Our practice is very family oriented. We like to help our families by treating most of their dental needs right here in our practice. There is no need to travel elsewhere when all services are offered in house.
My area of interest is specifically treating young children who may not have room for their erupting permanent teeth. Sleep apnea, snoring, teeth grinding, attention deficit disorder and breathing difficulties can all be addressed in our practice at an early age.
I also enjoy doing orthodontics on teens and adults. The change in someone's smile from start to finish is very rewarding to both the patient and the doctor.
Sleep apnea can be a life threatening problem. It is one of the most undiagnosed and untreated problems in our society today. It can have devastating effects on our cardiovascular systems, possibly leading to strokes, heart attacks and high blood pressure. It also directly affects one's quality of life. No one likes to be tired all the time! Most patients have an option of treatment modalities when it comes to their apnea problem. Some patients chose surgery, while others chose the CPAP breathing machine. Many patients, however, are not aware of the fact that their sleep apnea may be treated by simply wearing an oral appliance that holds the jaw in a different position that opens the airway! I am one of the only dentists in the area, that has the latest technology to measure one's airway and determine if an oral appliance is the best treatment for you."
