About us
Since first beginning his career, Dr. Collins has incorporated the latest technology into his patient care. Through ongoing professional development and peer groups, he keeps his finger on the pulse of new and evolving treatment options, such as dental implants. Skilled in advanced cosmetic procedures, he has the expertise to treat a broad range of problems that other dentists might refer to outside practitioners. Ultimately, his goal is to provide the highest quality care in a comfortable and caring environment.
Dr. David Collins, D.D.S., received his dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After an intensive general practice residency at St. Joseph's hospital in Denver, he joined an established Lakewood practice, which he took over in 1997. He grew the practice into the high-tech and professional Belmar Park Dental Care that patients know today. Dr. Collins and his wife, Lynette, have three children, and together they enjoy Colorado's many outdoor sports.

Service we offer
Cosmetic Dentistry:
Smile Design: There are few things in life that are as dramatic as a beautiful smile. Smile design is a technique that uses several different dental techniques, often including veneers, crowns, and whitening. Our office uses today's advanced techniques in Cosmetic Dentistry to help you acquire the healthy beautiful smile you've always wanted. Teeth that are discolored, chipped, crooked, or misaligned can be beautifully corrected. Ask about a smile that you'll wear with pride. Each individual that comes to see us has unique concerns. Our doctor uses the artistry of smile design to achieve the perfect smile just for you.
Tooth Whitening: Regardless of how well you care for your teeth, it is inevitable that, over time, some yellowing or discoloration will occur. Tooth whitening is a fast, safe, and affordable way to instantly improve your smile. At Belmar Park Dental Care we use the ZOOM! in office whitening system. With ZOOM! we can give you a brighter, younger looking smile in about an hour. Call for a free whitening consult today!
Veneers: Porcelain veneers are a great way to make a dramatic change to the color, shape, or even position of your teeth. Veneers are much like the facing on a fine cabinet or a fingernail applied by a manicurist. They are thin shells of porcelain applied to the outside of a tooth. They are strong, durable and are often the perfect solution to many cosmetic problems. Often treatment is completed in just 2 or 3 visits.
Restorative Dentistry:
Tooth Colored Fillings: Tooth colored, or "bonded" fillings are a great way to restore a tooth with a small cavity or chip. This type of filling has replaced the traditional "silver" fillings we all grew up with. Tooth colored fillings have some significant advantages to "silver" fillings. They seal the tooth better and bond the remaining tooth structure together resulting in a stronger tooth. They can also be used more conservatively requiring less natural tooth to be removed. Additionally they look great! This all helps to restore your tooth to its natural strength and beauty.
Onlays and Crowns: Onlays and crowns are used to fix a tooth that has a larger cavity or fracture. Porcelain restorations like these not only bond to the tooth structure, strengthening the teeth and making them more resistant to fracture, but also cosmetically blend into the existing tooth enamel.
Dental Implants: Dental Implants are a remarkable advancement in dental science. Implants are permanent restorations used to replace missing teeth. They can replace a single missing tooth, multiple teeth, or even stabilize a full denture. They are an attractive alternative to more traditional treatments providing greater stability and security and giving you the natural feeling of your own teeth.
Endodontics: Occasionally, a tooth's nerve chamber will become infected, requiring a root canal to save the tooth. This treatment cleans the infected chamber and repairs the damage, saving your natural tooth. Our office utilizes a procedure that is both comfortable and completed in less time than previous methods.
Emergency Services: We place special priority with all emergency needs. Should a dental emergency arise, call the office and we will make every effort to attend to your needs quickly. If an emergency occurs after normal business hours, call our main office number and you will be given Dr. Collins' forwarding number. Your call will be returned as quickly as possible.
