DIAGNOdent cavity detector:

  The DIAGNOdent is a cavity detection laser which allows the doctor to detect cavities that may be hidden under healthy surface material or deep within the cracks and crevises of the teeth. Combine this technology with the more traditional methods of detection and decay can be identified at a much earlier stage making treatment faster and more comfortable.

Digital x-rays:

  The dental digital x-ray system is a remarkable innovation which reduces your exposure to radiation by 90% It also eliminates the use of chemicals and the long wait time to develop each film. Most important, with a click of the mouse, the doctor can zoom in, rotate, magnify, and sharpen the image for a much higher quality resolution and diagnosis.

Cerec 3-D:

  Gone are the days when creating healthier teeth means a lot of time consuming steps: making impressions to send to the lab, creating temporary restorations, waiting for the lab- built restoration (which usually takes 2 weeks), and waiting for proper fittings and adjustments. With the CEREC 3-D technology strong healthy teeth are achievable in just one visit.


How it works:

After an examination, the tooth is prepped in the traditional manner. The tooth is then coated with a safe tasteless powder. A picture is then taken using a state of the art 3-D camera. The permanent restoration is digitally designed to exact specifications. A final proof is sent to our on-site milling unit. In 15 minutes or less, the permanent restoration is complete. The restoration is then fitted and permanently seated

Intra-Oral Camera:

  This tiny pen like camera is essential in making dental imaging highly visible to both the doctor and the patient. The camera is inserted into the mouth and an accurate photograph is taken of the area in need of treatment. Together the doctor and patient can clearly identify issues early on and prevent more extensive treatment.

Waterlase:

  Imagine a dental visit without the pain of a shot or the whine of the drill.

With the Waterlase technology this dental visit becomes a reality. The Waterlase technology emits a laser beam that energizes a precise spray of air and water. When directed at the tooth, this laser rapidly removes enamel, dentin, and decay.

After determining the patient's current dental health, Dr. Michael Bennett or Dr. David Bennett will take time with their patients to discuss ways to reach their short term or long term dental health goals, when the treatment should be done, and how much the patient can afford. It is important for us to inform each patient about their options and the benefits of long term dentistry. We educate each patient with both intra-oral pictures as well as digital x-rays which empowers our patients to become involved in this process. After the doctor and the patient are armed with this information, we proceed forward as the patient chooses, and always with respect to their treatment wishes
