About us  

Dr. Sukel graduated in 1968 from the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry. He served 2+ years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps, including one year in Vietnam. He founded, in 1971, a private dental practice in Arlington Heights, IL. In 2001, he moved the practice to Huntley, IL. as Midwest Integrative Dentistry, Ltd.


Dr. Sukel's educational background includes post-graduate dental education with the L.D. Pankey Institute, Periodontics, Endodontics, TMJ(D) Head & Neck Pain Treatment, and Oral Surgery. Additional studies include Nutrition, Biological Support, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Toxicology, Immunology, Clinical Research & Environmental Medicine. With this background, his practice is prevention oriented and reconstructive with alternative & biocompatible services as an adjunct to, not a substitute for, contemporary dental care.

Dr. Sukel is widely recognized with developing the very first protocols for protecting the patient, dentist and staff from toxic mercury while removing and replacing mercury amalgam fillings. These original protocols  are  still  used by concerned dentist world wide.
