A Message from Dr. Tracey

We pride ourselves on offering a unique blend of outstanding professionalism while maintaining down to earth interpersonal relationships. My staff and I are honored that you allow us to care for the dental needs of you and your families. In fact you are treated as if you are members of our own families. My greatest pleasure is treating the children of patients who were children themselves when I first started caring for them.

We are all very proud to be working in such a modern office. As such, the staff does a wonderful job keeping the office meticulously clean, following appropriate sterilization protocol. The care and concern you receive will be comforting to you. Do not be surprised to get a call from us in the evening or the weekend to see how well you are doing.

While there are many fine dentists out there, I feel the care you receive in our office is special. We are the first office in Rockland County to offer Waterlase® laser(drilless) dentistry. We are also the first office in Rockland County licensed to perform LANAP, the FDA approved non surgical laser treatment for gum disease. We are proud of the fact that low dosage computerized digital x-rays have been offered to our patients since 1997.

Keeping current with therapies and techniques is an important part of my practice.

Continuing education plays a vital role. As recognition of my accomplishments, I have recently been honored by receiving fellowships from the Academy of General Dentistry and World Clinical Laser Institute.

Over the years, Dr. Tracey has displayed his expertise across dentistry, whether it is adapting to new technologies like the relatively-painless water-laser drill, to properly diagnosing mouth and head-related discomfort. There was one particular incident where I required immediate dental treatment on a Saturday, and Dr. Tracey made himself available and ultimately helped me to avert permanent damage in my mouth. Because of his expertise and care, I've been willing to commute over an hour for my dental care at Dr. Tracey's office.

I just read in the news that the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry (IALD) is establishing Gum Disease Awareness Week (February 19-25), so I thought I'd share my own experience with gum disease. I had the classic symptoms: bleeding gums and loose teeth. I was referred to a periodontist for painful "cut and suture" traditional surgery-but I didn't take that route! Instead I did my online research and found Dr. Tracey! He offered me an alternative treatment, called LANAP (a patient-friendly laser procedure) and I've had excellent results! It's been about a year and a half since Dr. Tracey did the Laser Treatment on me and my gums are still healthy and my teeth are nice and tight again! He was also able to save some other teeth that were "compromised". He cares and has empathy and integrity. I highly recommend that you look into LANAP Laser treatment at Dr. Tracey's office in Pomona if you have been told you have gum disease. It worked for me!
