Loftus Dental began in 1977 when Ron Loftus opened our practice in Rapid City, SD. After serving in the United States Air Force, Ron chose to practice in the Rapid City because of the beauty and promise of the Black Hills area. As time went on and the practice grew, two of Ron’s sons--T.J. and Jeff--developed an interest in dentistry. It was then that Ron began plans for a second office in Sturgis, SD.
T.J. joined Ron in practice in 1996. He practiced in Rapid City for a short while, then moved his practice to Sturgis, where he has continued to use his dental and people skills to help patients in the Northern Black Hills area. Ron and T.J. work hard every day to provide their patients with the most up-to-date technology and services available. They attend continuing education classes regularly to ensure that their patients will receive the best possible treatment, including:
