About us  

Dr. George J. Loftus III, Doctor of Dental Surgery, is a 1985 graduate of Georgetown University's School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. He has been practicing general dentistry for over 25 years. Dr. Loftus founded A Center For Dental Health in 1993. Before moving to Coeur d'Alene he ran a dental practice in California for 8 years.
Dr. Loftus lives in Coeur d'Alene with his wife Roseanne and their six children; Briana, Brendan, Patrick, Joseph, Thomas, and Rosemarie. In his free time Dr. Loftus enjoys church group activities, camping, bicycling, running, swimming, and downhill and cross-country skiing.

We welcome adults and children; those looking to maintain their healthy smile, and especially patients who have been neglecting their dental care for quite some time. We offer sedation dentistry for patients who have fear or anxiety about visiting the dentist or have extensive work to be done in one appointment. Regular dental hygiene visits are important for your dental health. Oral surgery can be necessary in many different circumstances. Unlike many dental practices, we do not refer you to another office. Dr. Loftus can perform oral surgery right here in our office. If you are interested in improving your aesthetic appeal, we can help! Power bleaching is a a fast, effective way to brighten your smile. Lumineers and Invisalign can both help refresh your look by straightening, re-shaping, and whitening your teeth. Six Month Smiles is a short term braces program for adults that uses tooth-colored brackets and wires to improve your look in an average of just six months!Our office uses the most up to date technology to provide you with the best dental care available. The laser dentistry we offer can improve deep cleaning of your mouth and decrease the risks of periodontal disease and oral cancer. Patients with missing or broken teeth will benefit from a consultation with one of our doctors about crowns and bridges.
