Service we offer
Initial Exam
At SouthPoint Dental Care, we offer free pre-school screenings and free consultations for new clients…
Bonded Fillings
You can have stronger, more attractive teeth through cosmetic dentistry with tooth-colored fillings.
Restorations
Dental restorations require some very specific home care techniques. If you have porcelain crowns you must pay special attention to margin- the area where the crown ends and the natural tooth begins.
Fluoride
Fluoride can help protect your smile and your dental investment. Numerous clinical studies have evaluated fluoride’s cavity protection abilities, and while most of the early studies on cavities involved children, the clinical results in studies of adults also show positive results.
TMJ
If you suffer from chronic headaches, neck aches, facial pain near the cheeks or ears, or your jaws have a tendency to pop and click, these symptoms may be the result of temporomandibular joint disease, or TMJ.
Dental Implants
If you find yourself refraining from smiling, laughing out loud or eating in public for fear that your denture may slip or others will notice the space left by missing teeth, dental implants may restore your confidence.
Fresh Breath
If you find yourself constantly worrying about halitosis, or bad breath, it is time to conquer that fear. The right way to eliminate bad breath is to make an appointment with Dr. Moore, who uses state-of-the-art equipment to alleviate this problem.
Dry Mouth
The dental term for dry mouth is “xerostomia,” which is the result of decreased saliva flow.
Sedation Dentistry
If you are fearful, have had a traumatic dental experience in the past, experience difficulty getting numb, hate shots and needles or have complex dental problems, sedation dentistry may be a good option for you.
Gum Treatment
Dr. Moore offers a variety of treatment options for patients with periodontal – or gum- disease. These treatments include deep cleaning known as scaling and root planing and the use of antibiotic chips.
Oral Cancer Screening
For oral cancer screenings, we use the VELscope system in our office to give you a complete, comprehensive oral cancer screening in just minutes.
Digital X-rays
Several years ago, SouthPoint Dental Care converted from using traditional X-ray film to digital X-ray technology.
Sleep Apnea
Dr. Moore has received special training in methods dentists can use to treat sleep apnea in patients.
