About us
A combination of scientist, caregiver, and artist, Dr. Kravitz takes the time to get to know and talk to you about how to best craft your experience, including the products and techniques he will use to suit your particular desires. He loves his work and looks forward to arriving at his office each day. He will tell you that the best parts of his job are the people: he delights in developing longstanding, enriching relationships with his patients.
“I always loved science, and since I’m a creative and artistic person with a caretaker kind of personality, dentistry held a natural attraction for me. It’s the perfect career for me. I like the long-standing relationships I have with my patients. I enjoy enhancing their smiles and I can’t wait to get up in the morning and go to work. I really have been blessed by being able to make a difference in people’s lives.”
Dr. Kravitz graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland in 1978 and continues regularly to receive advanced training in specialized areas from porcelain veneers to the latest advances in dental implants and teeth whitening. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and many others. So that he can better serve his community, he also works as a volunteer dentist for the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped and the Give Back a Smile program.
When he is not combining his interest in the arts with his dental practice, Dr. Kravitz takes advantage of the range of fine arts Philadelphia has to offer: he enjoys attending the opera, a play, and the symphony. He also enjoys traveling, and to keep up his energy he trains regularly in Pilates, Yoga and free weights.
