About us
Dr. Theodore R. Belfor graduated New York University College of Dentistry in 1966, after which he served as Brigade Dental Surgeon for the 196th Light Infantry, Chu Lai, Viet Nam. He was Dental Director for American Healthcare, Ltd., in Beijing, China and has been in private practice in New York, NY for over 30 years.
Dr. Belfor is a member of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA), the Appliance Therapy Practitioners Association (ATPA), the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA), and the American Academy for Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM)
He has been published in The Functional Orthodontist, The International Journal of Orthodontics, Journal for the American Academy of Gnathologic Orthopedics, The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Anti-Aging and Cosmetic Surgery Magazine.
